Text tools
Free text style tools: turn plain text into fancy, cursive, gothic, italic or upside-down Unicode text to copy and paste into a bio, caption or chat.
These tools change the look of the letters you type. Each one swaps plain letters for Unicode look-alike characters (cursive, gothic blackletter, italic, bold, bubble, tiny, upside down and glitch styles), so the result is plain text you can copy and paste.
They run in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. The results are not fonts: some apps may show them badly, screen readers may read them poorly, and they are not meant for passwords or usernames.
Fancy text styles
Pick a style family, or open the main generator to see all 30 styles at once.
- Fancy Text GeneratorTextTextThe Fancy Text Generator turns your text into 30 styles you can copy and paste. The styles are look-alike Unicode characters, not real fonts. Type in the box and the list updates as you type. Your text is changed in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Instagram Fonts GeneratorTextTextThis Instagram Fonts generator gives you look-alike styles you can copy into your bio or caption. The tool changes your text in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Start with the Bio and caption picks, then test the result in a draft before you post. Styled text can look different on each phone, computer and app, so check it first.
- Cursive Text GeneratorTextTextThe Cursive Text Generator turns your letters into script-style characters that you can copy and paste into a bio, caption or chat. Type or paste your text, pick a style and copy the result. It is free, and you do not need an account. The text is changed in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Gothic Text GeneratorTextTextThe Gothic Text Generator turns your letters into blackletter look-alike characters. It offers two styles, Fraktur (gothic) and Bold fraktur (gothic), and the page opens on them. The text is changed in your browser, and nothing is uploaded. It suits a short word, a name or a title, so you can decorate a nickname or a caption in a few seconds.
- Italic Text GeneratorTextTextThe Italic Text Generator turns your plain letters into slanted look-alike characters you can copy and paste. It is useful where you cannot turn on real italic formatting, such as a field that accepts only plain text. The text is changed in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Weird Text GeneratorTextTextThe Weird Text Generator changes your letters into look-alike characters that give a glitchy, creepy look. Type or paste your text and pick a style from the list. This page opens on the Weird and creepy group, so the seven weird styles show first. The text is changed in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Upside Down Text GeneratorTextTextThe Upside Down Text Generator turns your text into a look-alike that reads upside down. Each letter is swapped for a turned character, and the order of the letters is reversed, so the line appears flipped when you view it. The tool is free and needs no signup.
- Superscript GeneratorTextTextThe Superscript Generator turns your text into superscript, subscript and small capital letters that you can copy and paste. The results are Unicode characters, not formatting, so they work where there is no superscript button. Not every letter has a tiny form, and the page lists the characters that stayed as typed. Your text is changed in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
ASCII art
Turn text into ASCII banners, or a picture into text art.
- ASCII Art GeneratorTextTextThe ASCII Art Generator turns the words you type into big letters made of ordinary keyboard characters. Pick one of 11 FIGlet fonts, set the line width, then copy the result or save it as a .txt file. It works as an ASCII art maker for banners, code comments, README headings and chat posts. Your text is turned into art in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Image to ASCIIImageTextImage to ASCII turns a picture into text art made of keyboard characters. Choose a photo or a drawing, set how many characters wide the result should be, and pick a set of characters. You can copy the result or save it as a .txt file. The picture is read in your browser, and it never leaves your device.
Emoji
Copy and paste emoji combinations for a bio, caption or chat.
Case and capitalization
Change text to upper, lower, sentence or title case.
- Lower Case to Upper Case ConverterTextTextThis free Lower Case to Upper Case converter turns your text into capitals with one button. Paste or type your text, press UPPER CASE and copy the result. It also does lower case, sentence case, capitalized words, alternating case and inverse case. Your text is changed in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Title Case ConverterTextTextTitle case means capitalizing the main words of a title or headline and keeping small words such as a, the and of in lower case. This free title case converter changes your text in your browser, so nothing is uploaded. Paste your titles, pick one of four style buttons, and the tool applies that style's rules to every line.
Faces and text tools
Copy and paste text faces, or repeat a piece of text many times.
- Text FacesTextTextText Faces is a free list of 154 faces made of keyboard characters, such as the shrug, the table flip and the classic smiley, that you can copy and paste. They are sorted into 10 groups, such as happy, sad, animals and actions. Search by word, press Copy next to a face and paste it where you need it. The list runs in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
- Text RepeaterTextTextThe Text Repeater repeats a word, a sentence or a few lines as many times as you choose, up to 10,000 times, and puts a new line, a space, a comma or your own text between the copies. You copy the result or save it as a .txt file. The result is capped at 100,000 characters so a typing slip cannot freeze your browser. Your text stays in your browser.
