PDF, PNG or JPEG. Page size, margins, headers and footers, viewport, full page capture and wait conditions are options.
Contained by design. Each job gets a fresh browser context, its own temporary folder that is deleted when it ends, and a hard timeout, inside a worker container with fixed resource limits.

How credits work

You pay for finished files, not for attempts.

1Reserved when you submit
The job's estimated cost is held from your balance. A simple render is 1 credit; the 202 response says how many were reserved.
2Rendered in a contained worker
The job gets a fresh browser context in a resource-limited worker container, with a hard time limit. Its temporary files are deleted when it ends.
3Settled when it ends
Success is charged on the real result: PDFs over 10 pages and files over 5 MB cost more. Credits for failed and timed-out jobs are returned in full.

Questions

Do I need an account to use the tools?

No. The web tools work without an account, up to 10 conversions per minute and 50 per day, with a human check before each conversion. An account removes the human check and uses your credits instead.

What does a credit buy?

A simple render, such as HTML or a URL to a PDF, a screenshot of one screen, or a URL to Markdown, costs 1 credit. Full page screenshots start at 2 credits. Credits are reserved when a job starts and credits for failed jobs are returned.

How long do you keep my files?

Web tool results are deleted after 10 minutes. API results are kept 1 day on the free plan, 7 days on Starter and Pro, and 30 days on Business and Scale. What you submit is deleted when the job ends.

What renders the pages?

Headless Chromium, the browser engine without a window. Each job gets a fresh browser context inside a resource-limited worker container, with its own temporary files and a hard time limit, and requests to private network addresses are blocked.

Can I use the same thing from my code?

Yes. Every tool on the site is built on the same render API. Create a free account, make an API key in the dashboard, and send HTML or a URL to POST /v1/render.
