AIIPWorld: what we offer
From our own price list and configuration. See pricing for the current version.
- Free plan: 100 credits per month, no card needed. A simple render costs 1 credit. The free web tools also work without an account.
- Paid plans (monthly price / credits per month): $19 / 2,750, $59 / 10,000, $149 / 30,000, $299 / 75,000. Yearly billing is 10 times the monthly price. A credit pack is $10 for 1,400 credits that do not expire.
- A screenshot costs 1 credit; a full page screenshot costs 2 credits for an image up to 5,000 px tall, plus more for taller ones. PDFs over 10 pages and results over 5 MB cost extra credits. Credits for failed jobs are returned. These costs are provisional until launch.
- API: PDF from HTML or a public web address, and PNG or JPEG screenshots, all with headless Chromium. Jobs are asynchronous (submit, then poll). Results are kept for a limited time and then deleted. Webhooks, templates and a batch endpoint are not available yet.
Price per credit at each listed plan
Plain division: the monthly price divided by the credits (CloudConvert) or credits (AIIPWorld) included, with a simple render counted as 1 credit. CloudConvert figures use the plans listed above (2026-10-12, cloudconvert.com/pricing). The units are not the same thing, larger AIIPWorld outputs use more credits, and our credit costs are provisional until launch, so treat this as arithmetic, not a verdict.
| CloudConvert plan | Price per credit |
|---|---|
| Package, 1,000 credits: $17 for 1,000 | $0.017 |
| Subscription, 1,000 credits a month: $9 for 1,000 | $0.009 |
| AIIPWorld plan | Price per simple render |
|---|---|
| Starter: $19 for 2,750 | $0.007 |
| Pro: $59 for 10,000 | $0.006 |
| Business: $149 for 30,000 | $0.005 |
| Scale: $299 for 75,000 | $0.004 |
Reading the two lists side by side
- The units differ. A CloudConvert credit is about a minute of conversion time plus a base cost by conversion type; our credit is one simple render, and larger outputs use more. Its pages do not say how many credits a website capture uses, so the per-credit table is not a price per PDF.
- CloudConvert converts 212 formats. We make two kinds of job, PDF and screenshot (PNG or JPEG), from HTML or a public web address.
- Both have a free allowance: 10 credits a day on CloudConvert, 100 credits a month on ours. The free web tools need no account.
- We have not compared rendering quality or speed. Run a few of your own pages through both.
You can try ours without an account in the HTML to PDF tool or the website screenshot tool. The PDF API and screenshot API pages list every option.
CloudConvert is a name of its respective owner. AIIPWorld is not affiliated with it.
CloudConvert alternative: what to compare
If you are looking for a CloudConvert alternative, first check which job you need done. CloudConvert is a file conversion service that handles many document, image, video, audio, and CAD formats. AIIPWorld is a render API for two jobs: turning HTML or a public web address into a PDF, and capturing a PNG or JPEG screenshot of a page. If your work is mainly web pages, these two tools overlap. If your work is mainly converting files between formats, they do not.
The comparison below uses facts from CloudConvert's own pages (home, pricing, and website capture docs) as read on 2026-10-12. The table above shows those vendor facts, and this text does not repeat them row by row. Pricing and plan details can change, so check the vendor's pricing page before you decide.
CloudConvert pricing in short
CloudConvert measures usage in credits. Its pricing page lists base credit costs for four conversion types: General (1), Office to PDF (2), iWork to PDF (2), and PDF to Office (4). It states that packages and subscriptions typically use one credit per minute of conversion time, and that extra credits are charged for every minute beyond the first. Only successful conversions are charged.
The page lists four plan types:
- Free: 10 credits a day, with a daily reset and no credit card required.
- Package: a one-time payment, with credits that never expire. The page showed $17.00 for 1,000 credits.
- Subscription: monthly credits at a lower per-credit price. The page showed $9.00 a month for 1,000 credits, with no minimum term and no rollover of unused credits.
- Enterprise: custom plans for large workloads.
Plain division on the figures the page showed gives:
Package: $17.00 / 1,000 credits = $0.017 per credit.
Subscription: $9.00 / 1,000 credits = $0.009 per credit.
A credit is not a document. A conversion uses at least one credit, and more if it runs longer than a minute. So the number of documents you can process depends on how long each job takes. When we read the page, one read showed dollar amounts and another showed a euro sign for the free plan, so check the currency on CloudConvert's page.
AIIPWorld uses its own credit model. A simple render costs 1 credit. PDFs beyond 10 pages cost 1 more credit per 10 pages, results above 5 MB cost more, and full page screenshots cost more (A full page screenshot costs 2 credits for an image up to 5,000 px tall, plus 1 credit for each further 5,000 px (or part of), up to 16,384 px (5 credits at most). Height is counted in output pixels, so device_scale_factor 2 doubles it. The job is reserved at 2 credits and settled on the real image height.). These costs are provisional until launch. The monthly plans are Free with 100 credits a month and no card, Starter at $19 for 2,750, Pro at $59 for 10,000, Business at $149 for 30,000, and Scale at $299 for 75,000. A credit pack costs $10 for 1,400 credits that do not expire. Yearly billing equals 10 months of the price. You can see full details on the pricing page.
CloudConvert vs AIIPWorld: what each does
CloudConvert's home page says it handles 212 formats across 11 categories. The listed categories are Documents, Images, Video, Audio, Spreadsheets, Slides, E-books, Archives, Vector, CAD, and Fonts. Its API builds jobs from import, convert, and export tasks, and you can connect those tasks to your own storage and application logic. Its website capture operation converts a website to PDF or captures a screenshot in PNG or JPG. That operation takes a URL and an output format, and it supports header and footer templates. Its Sandbox API runs jobs without using credits, but it only accepts a limited set of whitelisted files. A Job Builder in the browser helps generate and test requests.
AIIPWorld does not offer general file conversion. We do not have video, audio, spreadsheet, or CAD conversion, and we do not offer a sandbox. We run two kinds of jobs: PDF (from HTML, or from a public http or https address) and screenshot (PNG or JPEG). Our engine is headless Chromium running in isolated, resource-limited worker containers with a hard timeout. JavaScript runs by default in the rendered page. Each job gets a fresh browser context. We do not have a cookie option, so a page behind a login shows its login screen. Private networks are blocked.
For PDF output, you can set page format, margins, landscape mode, background printing, page ranges, print or screen media, and wait conditions. Header and footer templates are supported, and page numbers are added with spans that use the classes pageNumber and totalPages. For screenshots, you can set viewport size, full page capture, clipping, device scale factor from 1 to 3, JPEG quality, and color scheme. We do not offer WebP output.
We also do not offer webhooks, templates by template_id, or a batch endpoint. We do not offer synchronous mode, either. Jobs run asynchronously, and you poll for the result.
Our fonts are fixed on the render server. Liberation, Noto (including Noto CJK and Noto Color Emoji), and many other Noto scripts are available. Fonts from your own machine are not there. You can load other fonts with @font-face from a public URL or a data URL.
Free web tools are available with no account at HTML to PDF, URL to PDF, and website screenshot. Anonymous use requires a human check through Cloudflare Turnstile, and output has no watermark.
How to test with your own jobs
Test with the pages you actually render, not with a sample page. Use this checklist:
- Fonts: render a page that uses your real typefaces, and check whether they appear. Remember that fonts from your own machine are not on the render server.
- Waiting for the page: compare the default load wait with domcontentloaded, networkidle, or a wait_for_selector, and use delay_ms only when you need it, up to 10000 ms.
- Headers and footers: confirm that your header_template and footer_template render correctly, and that page numbers appear where you expect.
- Login pages: if your content sits behind a login, confirm that the render shows what you need. A page behind a login shows its login screen.
- Error handling: test a failing URL and a slow page, and confirm how your code reads the failed or timeout status.
- Cost for your volume: count how many credits a typical page, multi-page PDF, and full page screenshot use, then compare that against the plan limits.
- Timing: measure how long a typical job takes from POST to succeeded, using your own network and page weight.
Run the same test set on CloudConvert's website capture with your own URLs. Its docs do not state the credit cost of a website capture, and they do not say whether JavaScript runs, so test those points directly.
Moving from CloudConvert to AIIPWorld
If you already use CloudConvert for web pages, the move is mostly about changing the request format. Create an API key in the dashboard and send it as a Bearer token in the Authorization header, or use the x-api-key header. Send a POST to /v1/render on api.aiipworld.com with a JSON body that includes html or url, plus output set to pdf, png, jpeg, or html (html is for url only). The response is 202 with a job_id.
Then poll GET /v1/jobs/:id until the status is succeeded, failed, or timeout. A succeeded job includes a download_url. It is a short-lived signed link, so you do not need an API key to download the file. Credits for failed and timed-out jobs are returned. Map your existing options to our names, such as format, margin, print_background, display_header_footer, header_template, and footer_template.
Some CloudConvert workflows will not map directly. If your flow depends on import, convert, and export tasks, or on webhooks and batch processing, you will need to rebuild that part in your own code. Our API has no batch endpoint, no webhooks, and no templates.
When CloudConvert may suit you better
CloudConvert may suit you better if you need to convert many kinds of files, not just web pages. Its 212 formats across 11 categories cover a wide range of document, media, and CAD work. Its Sandbox API runs jobs without using credits, although it accepts only whitelisted files. The API is built around import, convert, and export tasks that connect to your own storage. Its pricing page also lists team billing and SSO / SAML among its features, and an Enterprise plan with priority support, a 99.9% SLA, and optional dedicated capacity. We do not offer SSO or team billing, and we make no SLA claim.
When AIIPWorld may suit you better
AIIPWorld may suit you better if your work is mainly HTML to PDF or URL to PDF, or website screenshots, and you want a focused API for those jobs. JavaScript runs by default, each job uses a fresh browser context, and you can set print CSS options, margins, headers, and footers from one request. You can also try the free web tools first, with no account required, before you decide on an API plan.
Questions
Is there a free cloudconvert alternative for web pages?
AIIPWorld has free web tools for HTML to PDF, URL to PDF, and website screenshots at /tools/html-to-pdf/, /tools/url-to-pdf/, and /tools/website-screenshot/. They need no account, and anonymous use requires a human check. The API Free plan includes 100 credits a month with no card. CloudConvert's free plan lists 10 credits a day, with no credit card required.
How much does CloudConvert cost?
CloudConvert's pricing page lists a package at $17.00 for 1,000 credits, which is $0.017 per credit by plain division. Its subscription shows $9.00 a month for 1,000 credits, which is $0.009 per credit. Subscription credits reset monthly and do not roll over, and packages do not expire. Prices may appear in a currency that depends on your location.
What is the main difference between CloudConvert and AIIPWorld?
CloudConvert is a general file conversion service that supports 212 formats across 11 categories. AIIPWorld is a render API for two job types: PDF from HTML or a public URL, and PNG or JPEG screenshots. If you need to convert spreadsheets, video, or CAD files, CloudConvert covers that and we do not.
Does AIIPWorld have an API?
Yes. You send a POST to /v1/render on api.aiipworld.com with html or url and an output type. The API returns a job_id with a 202 response. You poll GET /v1/jobs/:id until the job succeeds, and then download the file from download_url. Full details are in the docs.
Can I convert a web page to PDF with CloudConvert?
CloudConvert's website capture operation converts a website to PDF or captures a PNG or JPG screenshot. It takes a URL and an output format, and it supports header and footer templates. Its docs do not state the credit cost of a website capture, and they do not say whether JavaScript runs. Test both points with your own pages before you rely on them.
Can AIIPWorld add a header and footer to a PDF?
Yes. Set display_header_footer to true, then supply header_template and footer_template as HTML, up to 64 KB each. Use spans with the classes pageNumber and totalPages for page numbers. See the PDF API page for the other PDF options.
How do I move from CloudConvert to AIIPWorld?
Create an API key in the dashboard and send it as a Bearer token. Replace your website capture requests with POST /v1/render, map your options to our names, then poll GET /v1/jobs/:id until the job completes. Our API has no batch endpoint, webhooks, or templates, so move any workflow that depends on them into your own code. The Node.js guide shows a working example.
